Nan King Restaurant in Hudson

People have been waiting in excess of 30 minutes past their pick up times, including myself. They are refusing to cancel orders and refunding money. Worst service I have ever seen from a Chinese restaurant and I have had bad experiences with many.

Ordered takeout and the food was great

Cheap lunch, good food, not many options

Watered down duck sauce and older food on buffet that tasted like it was there all day. Sorry but I won't be going back for a long time. Maybe time will make the food better.

Great food/drinks and service. Would go again without a doubt.

Excellent Service Food Karaoke And Other Stuff

Best restaurant ever. People are always beyond polite and helpful and food is always fast and fresh. Would recommend it to anyone.

Food is generic, only done takeout. I don't go often but have noticed that it takes longer. Tonight I waited 30 minutes in the lobby after having called 20 minutes prior. Didn't get an explanation, coupon, apology, or any indication that I'd need to wait 30 minutes when I arrived. When I said that we'd been waiting for a half-hour, she said the kitchen was busy...not sure where they were hiding the cars or people.

I don't know what happen to this place. Since I can remember best Chinese in town.It's not that the food sucks; its edible. It's just just not the same.Oh and the staff isn't all that great either.

Poor service, food quality, and motivation. They know all of this and do nothing to correct it. No floor service in the lounge and poor food arrives COLD!

The place is dirty and looks like a time warp from the 60s I asked for bottled water the bottle was dirty when I refused it the bartender said it's the only one you dont want it . I ordered a beer instead. The next day I had the flu for 4 days. I've seen bad reviews to stay away from the food I only had a beer that's the 1st & last time stay away

We always come here for karaoke and we order some food while there, which is really good. The karaoke is every night which is awesome, so when we come here it is for both the karaoke and the food, which is very reasonably priced.

Had the buffet today, showed up at 12:15 half the food was cold. This is the second time I tried the New Nan's. Won't go back. Nothing like the Old Nan's. Maybe the Health department should do a little check on this place.

This place is worth trying. They have big portions for reasonable rates. Regularly well kept and with good atmosphere. Highly recommended.

My wife and I went here right at the 11:00AM opening for the lunch buffet. When seated, the Hostess/ Waitress/ Food Mgr. told us we would have to wait for a bit while the staff fills the buffet trays and sets up the Food Bar. Well....about 15 minutes later, we got the OK to start our buffet feast. The food was very fresh, tasty, and hot in temperature. We truly enjoyed our buffet experience at Nan King and will be back soon. Only maybe at 11:30AM so we can eat as soon as we get there.

Bar service was ok, although the Mai Tai was the worst I've ever had. Food was tasteless.

Meh- the food is still probably the best in the area but the service and the new management is very dishonest and confused... Young family taking on more than they can handle. I miss the old owners and Jimmy in the bar. Ching Ming is kind but overwhelmed and his family is completely out of their element.

It's decent Chinese food. I prefer Chinese that isn't so Americanized and generic, i.e more authentic, but that's hard to find around here.

Lunchtime buffet is disgusting. Dried out, no variety and taste is terrible. Save your money.

I've gone to Nan King off and on for over 30 years. Now under new management. This buffet was probably the best in many years. Food was fresh, tasty. Good options (only 2 spicy dishes), but they were happy to give me hot oil, to spice it to my taste. Jane even took my wife's dish and reheated it to her temperature.

Great place! Staff extremely friendly, food and drinks were excellent! It's a bit out of my way but I will be returning here weekly. New Friday night chill spot. Check it out.

The food is very good! But will have to go and order in person next time, since I ordered a #1 dinner with crab rangoon as the appetizer choice and got full order of each and the price to match. won't make that mistake again!

We ordered food a few nights in a row, I live in Florida now and we don’t have real Chinese food here. The chicken fried rice (2 large orders of it) looked, felt and tasted bad almost like it was microwaved. I called them, they argued and were so damn rude I just hung up. I had already bought a half gallon of duck sauce to bring back to Florida from them (which I do every time I go but from other restaurants) and when I got home it was spoiled! I have not had this problem in the 14 years of buying duck sauce and bringing it home! I will never eat at this place again! I used to like it but I just found out they have new owners.

Went for lunch buffet. Slow service and buffet didn't have much of a selection.

I went there for the dinner buffet the other day and I was extremely disappointed in the selections they had. There were only 7 different items to choose from and the food wasnt even fresh. I won't be going back ever! I should have just gone to the Gran Buffet in Nashua.

The place was grose, with drinks everywhere and they weren't just drunk. They were stuperfied

The buffet should be offered for free. Half price would work since they cut the buffet in half

Great food 👌. But if you expect to be picking up for on New years Eve get ready to wait. But it's worth the wait. We called way in advance but there was just so many people in there we still waited 40mins to get our order

No soup with dinner 3 bucks more then lunch and same portions! Ordered no vegetables in my beef with garlic sauce so they charged me 2 dollars more for extra beef which was nice but they should ask first lol very nice bartender as well little rowdy in the lounge but as expected on a Friday! Food was delicious but spicy even know it wasn't a spicy dish on the menu next time I will go for lunch

for me to post a food review you must be doing something right. we came here a few months ago for my mom’s birthday (seeing a few negative reviews we wanted to see what the fuss was all about) and they were clean, friendly, food was delicious and came out fast. No problems at all. Just went back this past weekend for my anniversary and our waitress happened to be the same woman, and she was incredible! took great care of us and even brought over additional sides we didn’t even ask for (for no additional charge!) the food is so great I just decided to grab takeout for dinner tonight from them. I look forward to coming back every time to try something new on the menu.Long story short- would HIGHLY recommend and will absolutely be back many more times. Don’t listen to all those picky reviews, see for yourself. the place is awesome.

In the center of Hudson on 111 it's easy to find and there's plenty of parking. Last weeks wind storm took out the sign above the door but they are open. The staff was fantastic, and the food was amazing. They have a selection of low carb meals that delivered great taste and didn't send my sugar spiking. The staff was helpful and very friendly. The only reason not to give 5 stars is the drab, tired interior. The restaurant is under new management so they need time to get things the way they want them, and everything is great, except the ambiance. Everything looks like it was last updated in the 70's. It's not very pleasant, but the food and service make up for it. Overall, we'll go back, but not as often as we would if it was pleasant to be in there..

Doesn't even deserve one star. I used to love it until New owners. Went today and they changed to the cheap duck sauce which is sugar water. Buffet was cold and old. Complained and I was told I was just looking for a free meal. If I wanted a free meal I would be going to a good tasting restaurant for that. I would rather drive to Nashua and pay more for quality food. I assume the bar is what keeps the business.

The bartender was very nice she made me hot coffee and gave me her personal coffee cream from her purse because they dnt usually make coffee and had no coffee cream.

I’ve never sat in the restaurant but my takeout was always really good
